We were in Jackson parish with no electricity and trees falling down all around us. Luckily, I had found an old "boom box" and had enough batteries for it so we could stay informed on the storm's progress.
Y'all usually simulcast with K104 during bad weather so it was great to be able to listen to LA105 and hear "our" music! We had the radio on all night as we tried to sleep. We all just stayed in one room - me on the air mattress, hubby in the recliner and my son (6) on the couch. It was reassuring when I woke up after dozing off to hear the music or latest weather report.
